Kalpak Travel, based in Switzerland and established in 2016, is a boutique destination specialist tour operator for the five “Stans” of Central Asia: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.

Salvatore worked for the US Tour Operator Grand Circle Corporation for 20 years. As a buyer, he was responsible to negotiate best conditions, assess services quality and choose best partners to serve customers. In order to be successful, it was critical to develop powerful pitches to leverage vendors. Today, Salvotore is focusing on a digital marketing platform connecting individual transportation companies with buyers (hotels, tour operators, charters).

Ivana is in the Executive Board of WFTGA (World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations) and is a founder of Serbian National Tourist Guide Association. Ivana is also a professor at the College of Professional studies.
Since 2011, Ivana has been providing training for cruise companies Costa and Tui. In 2007 she finished a training in the
International training center of WFTGA in Cyprus. Since then, she has been involved in delivery of many tourist guide training around the world. Currently Ivana is the lead trainer in Qatar. She was engaged in writing by-laws and strategies for tourist guides.

Mehmet Guler comes from Istanbul, Turkey. After graduating Istanbul University, Tourism and Hotel Management in 1991, worked at hotels for 10 years and since 2001 has been working for international tour operators. Currently working as the Regional General Manager of Turkey, Caucasus and Central Asia for Grand Circle Corporation, running 4 programs and being responsible for regional quality for American Travelers since 2008.

Founder of “Marketing, Exhibitions, Consulting” Company with 20 years’ experience in the field of marketing and events. In her current position, she is responsible for organizing of World Travel Chat online events, as well as networking for associations of different countries and their member companies during and after the events.
